Andrew creates semi-porcelain ceramics
from domestic ware to more individual pieces. He uses the individual
technique of slip casting, combined with modelled details, and carefully
hand finishes each piece. The work is intended to be tactile and
sensual, to satisfy the inquisitive hand, and to be visually curious.
The combination of considered forms, with surfaces and function is
always important criteria in the creation of his work. |
