If my
work evokes something of the past in the viewer then I would say they
are on the right track. I have always found it fascinating when part of
a building is removed suddenly laying bare the interiors, wallpaper
ragged at the edges, the remnants of peoples lives.
I work with old-fashioned anaglypta wallpapers to create textures for
moulds and build vessels from the slabs taken from these.
