Strong, organic forms, drawing
on both organic and architectural themes, are made on the wheel.
Once leather hard, the pots are often facetted or carved, giving
the work a hand built quality, though retaining their thrown
strength.
The work is in both red and white clay. The striking variegated
glaze surface is achieved with Barium glazes. Paper and wax
resist techniques are also employed.
