Since his first introduction into glassmaking in 1989, Jon Lewis has
become fluent in many glass disciplines.
Since gaining a BA (hons) degree from Wolverhampton in 1993, Jon has
worked in selected Glass Colleges in the UK, also worked in various
glass studios in the USA. He has run his own stained glass studio in
London and has exhibited worldwide. In 2001 he co-founded Flux Glass
Design, hot glass studio.
From blown glass pieces to architectural installations, his work has
evolved a unique vision, a fusion of beauty and uniqueness.
Every piece of Jon’s art has a twist.
Each of his designs can be traced back to a sketch, sometimes
scribbled many years before just waiting for that last ingredient of
inspiration for it to become a reality.
