Polyester resin is
my main material, which is combined with other materials such as
acrylic, paper wire and sheet metal. By developing ways of
introducing and layering colour I try to exploit the translucent
qualities of resin. In some recent work I have been exploring
textures-both produced by myself (in wax, metal and clay) and found
textures. I like the idea of using the surface of something that
would not normally be associated with jewellery or be thought of as
attractive such as corrugated cardboard and bubblewrap. |
