In my jewellery I like to use linear structures to create volume, contrasting the black oxidised silver with the brightness of yellow gold. I am interested in drawing and the qualities of drawn line. Each idea is sketched and although many firms are geometric, I construct the pieces freehand to retain spontaneity. I see the pieces as sculptural forms as well as being things to wear on the body. I use subtlety of the fine linear forms in contrast with the solidity of the human form.
