Flowing from both my desire for originality
and cultural background, I create work that combines Western
silversmithing techniques with Eastern forms of daily utensils used in
ancient society.
I am fascinated with the concept of the ladle, which contains a
substance and carries it travelling from space to space. Of particular
interest is the movement of scooping something out from one container,
then pouring into another one.
