Flow at SOFA CHICAGO 2015 - November 6-8
Opening Night Preview, Thursday, November 5
Festival Hall, Navy Pier, 600 E. Grand Ave, Chicago, IL 60611 Flow Booth 704
Flow gallery is delighted to be returning to SOFA Chicago for the fourth time to re-establish contact with the wide range of collectors it has made in the past and be introduced to new faces interested in European contemporary craft. Our aesthetic is a mix of Scandinavian and Japanese Crafts which we believe share similar characteristics. Akiko Hirai has gained a big following at the first show we participated in with her Moon Jars. We will be introducing Hirai’s installations of stoneware vessels inspired by Morandi Paintings. Sue Lawty with wonderful pebble wall installations will be showing in Chicago for the first time. Amongst other exhibiting artists we will feature Henk Wolvers with his beautiful porcelain vessels and delicate wall pieces. Matthias Kaiser with colourful sculptural vessels will also be showing for the first time. Claire Brewster’s vintage map cutouts will complete flow’s presentation.
