A fresh take on the ancient Japanese art of birch vessels. This new innovative design has been crafted for the odern Japan utilizing new techniques while still retaining its traditional Japanese feel.
My inspiration for this piece comes from the beauty of nature in Hokkaido where I live. All the materials were sourced locally as Hokkaido is covered with birch forests and this is reflected in the finished piece.
