Lucy Le Feuvre

My birch plywood structures are created by cutting strips of plywood, which are then glued together, carved and curved into sensuous forms. These sculptural pieces, which reflect shapes in the landscape and natural geological patterns, lean almost weightlessly against walls, creating a feeling of gentle tranquillity and elegance whilst at the same time implying hidden movement through their curved and linear shapes.
