Fingerprint Series 2023, moving ring in Sterling Silver
Flow is pleased to introduce a new collection in silver by Korean Jeweller Heeseung Koh. Her ring series, which has become representative of her work, stands out for its soft texture with traces of fingerprints, rather than the typical shine of metal. Instead of being a controlled object that needs to be cut and polished, the ring appears to be a shape in which two subjects, body and material, meet and stop somewhere in the middle of a relationship.
This Fingerprint Series is characterised by the intimate traces of Heeseung’s making processes, and each piece is unique.
