Pierig Le Maillot is a basket weaver based in Saint Sulpice la Pointe on the Tarn. He works with willow, using Neolithic, Burkino and continuous weaving techniques to create contemporary baskets. By combining multiple weaving techniques to create his own distinct patterns, he pushes preconceptions of traditional woven forms.
