We have long admired Mitch Iburg’s work and are so pleased to present his first collection for Flow.

Working with foraged clays, stones, fossils and glacial debris from Minnesota, Mitch explores the geological and climatic events that have shaped the land around his studio. He gathers and processes these materials himself, developing a range of clays that reveal the distinctive colours, textures and mineral qualities of the landscape.

Working across vessel, sculpture and installation, Mitch allows the raw beauty of the materials to remain at the surface. Their gentle, matte finishes are tactile and hold the light, revealing subtle variations of colour and texture. Each piece offers a tangible connection to the landscape from which it was formed.
