Hand built in Maria's studio in Sweden, this bottle is of earthenware clay with a pale glaze. Drawing and painting are the basis for Maria's work in clay and her ceramics can be seen as three-dimensional drawings or still lives. Lines and surface texture are important features within her work and this bottle has a matte textured glaze and hand drawn markings. Each iteration is unique with a character of its own.
