Collection: A SHOWCASE FROM IRELAND

A collection of woven and carved works

We are pleased to introduce a new showcase of work by two Irish makers whose practices are grounded in a connection to land, tradition, and material. Joe Hogan, working from Loch na Fooey since 1978, creates basketry and sculptural nest forms from locally sourced natural materials, exploring our relationship with the wild and the poetry of materials.

Working in wood, Michael Murphy carves each piece slowly by hand, using traditional tools and techniques. His work asks what an unbroken Irish design language might look like today. Together, their work reflects a shared appreciation for nature, craft, and cultural memory.
