Collaboration between potter Edmund de Waal and architectural photographer Helene Binet

Helene Binet is a Swiss and French internationally acclaimed photographer based in London, who has captured de Waal's installations and the spaces in which his work is shown, including his studio and exhibition venues. Flow is pleased to present an edition from the collaboration between potter Edmund de Waal and architectural photographer Helene Binet. The photograph was taken in 2007, of de Waal's ceramic installation, 'A Change in the Weather', on display during an exhibition at Kettles Yard where his works were integrated into the home of Jim Ede.

Home & Studio

Earlier this year I visited the home and studio of potter Tim Lake in Cilycwm, Carmarthenshire. Set at the end of his garden and surrounded by open valley landscape, the studio is shaped by years of making.
